Fire, flooded apartments, power outage, oh my!
The fire alarm here went off a good while in the whole building.
BEEP BEEP BEEP over and over. Annoying! hah.

We went outside to see what was up.

Turns out, an apartment in this building,
some kids were home alone cooking something on stove.
It caught fire. Sprinklers went off. And so did fire alarm. In the whole building.

Fire trucks came and finally shut the fire alarm off. So we went back inside.
Then the power went out! We went back outside because it was getting hot with no AC.

Found out they turned the power off to the whole building
so the sprinklers going off didn't cause anyone getting electrocuted.

It wasn't just that one apartment. The apartment next to it, their sprinklers went off also.
And both those apartments were on the 2nd floor, so they flooded,
and caused the apartments below them to get water damage also!

The people have to be moved to a vacant apartment,
since the ones they are in are basically trashed.

Crazy!
