New favorite sushi place!
Austin surprised me with sushi today.
Which we set up and ate on the floor. Yum! =D

It was reallyyyy gooooodddd!!!

For years, "Sake House" in 5 points has been my favorite sushi place. I love their Jimmy Smith rolls.

But now, I think I have a new "just as good" place. Sushi House.
There's one on Baymeadows Road.
One on Old St. Augustine Road.
And a new one just opened on Edgewood Ave just a few doors down from Factory club night.

We picked up some sushi from them today.

They don't have Jimmy Smith rolls. But looking at their menu, they had something that sounded like it, but with a few extras thrown in. So we got that. It was called a "Baymeadows". We also got a "Dynamite", and a "Rock N Roll", and some crab sticks. AND, they had crab rangoons! (which usually I only see at Chinese places). So we grabbed some of those too.

The crab rangoons were great! Better then any of the ones from Chinese places I've had. And the Baymeadows roll is just as good as my favorite Jimmy Smith, if not better. And the other sushi rolls were great too!

And price wise, the rolls were around $5-6.. which is nice. Usually at other places the sushi is a bit more. At Sake House, for all we got, it'd usually be at least $30. But for all we got at Sushi House, PLUS the crab rangoons, it was just over $20.

But do you get as much as you do at Sake House though?
Heck yes!

You get the usual "8 pieces" in a roll at both places, but at Sake House, the sushi pieces are usually maybe a bit larger then a quarter. These pieces though were alot bigger! Like the size of a finger! hehe. Compared to the quarter sized rolls we usually get, they were harder to hold onto with chop sticks. Just look at those huge pieces on the right side of my plate! They bigger then the fortune cookie (yeah, they give fortune cookies too! It's like a sushi place mixed with a Chinese place. hehe).

So yeah.. if you like Sushi and haven't tried Sushi House yet.. try! I like it alot! =D

I've also heard that Sumo Sushi on Park St. (near King St. heading toward 5 points) is really good too.. but I've never been. Yet!
